Charmaine Glase has joined Diageo in the role of senior communications manager in its corporate relations team based in Sydney, Australia.
Glase has more than 10 years’ experience in communications and brings to the role extensive knowledge of the alcohol sector. In her role at Diageo, She will manage external communications and brand Diageo’s corporate reputation in the Australian market. Most recently she was senior communications manager at Wine Australia, a role she held for three years, supporting the organisation’s corporate communications and media engagement.
She worked for seven years in consumer PR roles at a number of Sydney’s leading independent public relations agencies including Liquid Ideas and The Cru Media, working across clients such as Singapore Airlines, Pernod Ricard, Treasury Wine Estates, and Carlton and United Breweries. Glase also spent several years working for one of Australia’s leading radio broadcasters Southern Cross Austereo and has worked in press office roles at major arts festivals, Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Adelaide Fringe Festival and Adelaide Festival of Arts.
