Job description: 


  • Define and drive Minted’s corporate and consumer PR strategy supporting both the overall Minted brand and each of our verticals, which are at various stages of growth. Solidify Minted as the industry leader in stationery; add fuel to our explosive growth in wall art, home décor, and digital products.
  • Develop strategic PR plans including press positioning, messaging, media relations strategies, creative collaboration strategies, fresh pitch ideas, and high-impact buzz marketing programs and events
  • Meet aggressive goals for earned media impressions and placing quality, message-rich stories that reinforce our brand position
  • Define and build the internal communications function at Minted, helping to effectively communicate and reinforce strategy, cultural values, and pertinent updates through a dynamic and quickly-growing organization
  • Act as a key company ambassador to many of our most important external constituencies, including media, bloggers, influencers, celebrities, and analysts
  • Manage, coach, and grow a world-class communications team that has exceeded aggressive performance goals for many consecutive years
  • Develop metrics and processes that help us measure communications impact and reinforce our culture of achievement and accountability
  • Tell the stories of the talented independent artists from around the world who participate in the Minted community and build their businesses on Minted’s platform

Experience and Skills 

  • 12+ years of work experience in business and consumer public relations, preferably with significant experience on an in-house communications team
  • Bachelor’s Degree with a high GPA 
  • Highly strategic communications professional with a deep understanding of corporate and consumer trends and the traditional and new media landscapes
  • Exceptional written and verbal communicator who is adept at framing, positioning, and influencing
  • Passionate, mission-driven, and inspiring brand ambassador
  • Highly results-oriented and driven
  • Creative and resourceful thinker
  • Leader with a track record of managing high-performance teams
  • Experience planning and hosting high-end events and parties is a plus
